What an interesting experience to go through. I certainly would have been a bit afraid in that situation. You have a very nice flow to your story. There was only one part in the story that I thought the language was awkward. But then again you are describing a rather awkward experience, so in that sense, it worked to convey the story rather well. Nice job!
